iPhone 4 & App Store Put Apple in Guinness Records





Apple enlisting in the 2011 Guinness record books.  thanks to iPhone 4 mobile  superior, and shop the App Store application. 


Macworld launch on Monday (5/16/2011), iPhone 4 was ordained as a portable gaming device the fastest-selling ("Fastest-Selling Portable Gaming System") after selling approximately 1.5 million units on launch day, June 24, 2010. 


Guinness compared iPhone sales 4 with the PlayStation Portable (PSP) of Sony and Nintendo DS, which incidentally is a real portable gaming device. When launched last November 2004, the DS had sold over 500 thousand units. While the PSP recorded sales of 200 thousand units when it was introduced 2005. 


"The launch of the iPhone not only change the mobile industry, but also the world of video games," said Guinness World Records Gaming Editor Gaz Deaves. 


"With a list of options that are not limited to the App Store and intuitive device, Apple has created a large space for them in the casual game genre that can deliver entertainment to the users wherever they are," he added. 


Not just the iPhone 4, App Store as Cupertino-based company also noted achievements as "Most Popular Application Marketplace" or store the most popular applications. 


Meanwhile, a phenomenal game Angry Birds cited as the "Top Paid-For App Store Games in Most Countries" (paid most popular games worldwide), while the Tap Tap Revenge to be the "Most Popular iPhone Game Series" (iPhone's most popular game series).
