HP boasts Touchpad Will Beat iPad


 
Toward to Touchpad tablet launching in Europe at end of the year, Senior Vice President Eric Cador catapult HP’s European challenge to the “number one tablet today”.

“In the PC world, with the difference in HP products and competitors, we become number one. In the world of tablets, we will be better than the holder of the throne of number one. We call it the number one plus,” Cador said at a press conference in Cannes, as quoted by the Telegraph, Monday (5/23/2011).

Although not triggered bluntly, it’s no secret that the current IPAD (Apple) is still a tablet with a worldwide bestseller. HP Tablet Touchpad which was introduced last February WebOS using the operating system, which ranks fifth of the OS market, which is dominated by Apple (IOS) and Google (Android).

After exhibiting Touchpad few months ago, HP has not released official pricing and launch date in Europe. Although faced with a skeptical analysts who questioned how HP plunge into a new market, HP claims ready to launch a massive marketing campaign, both to business and consumer sectors. (van)
